A multi-award winning 1980 Serbian film “Special Therapy” (“Poseban tretman“), directed by Goran Paskaljević, has been digitally restored as part of the Vip Kinoteka project, which is jointly implemented by the Yugoslav Film Archive and Vip mobile for the third consecutive year.

Vip mobile has donated mobile devices and SIM cards to the BELhospice palliative care center, in an effort to make everyday work easier for its employees, who, amid the coronavirus pandemic, continue to fulfill their primary mission and provide specialized services to oncology patients in the later stages of the disease.

Premiere of the digitally restored version of Dusan Makavejev’s “Love Affair, or The Case of the Missing Switchboard Operator“
The digitally restored version of “Love Affair, or The Case of the Mission Switchboard Operator” (Ljubavni slučaj ili tragedija službenice PTT), a film directed by Dusan Makavejev, premiered at the Yugoslav Film Archive as part of the “Vip Kinoteka” project.

DIGITAL PREMIERE OF “SOMETHING IN BETWEEN”
Belgrade, December 5th 2019 - A digitally restored version of “Something In Between” (Nešto između), a cult film directed by Srđan Karanović, had its first public screening at the Yugoslav Film Archive’s Makavejev Hall, as part of the “Vip Kinoteka” project.
“Moms, Welcome to the World”, a campaign by Vip mobile and Leo Burnett advertising agency, won as many as four awards at the 26th International Festival of Creativity Golden Drum, held in Portorož last week.
Belgrade, October 9th 2019 - “Let’s Clean the Rivers of Serbia“ is a new environmental project jointly implemented by Blic Daily Newspaper and Vip mobile, aimed at restoring the dignified appearance of Serbian waterways and making the environment healthier and more beautiful. The actions will be implemented between October and December 2019 with the aim of cleaning more than 20 rivers and river banks across Serbia and the entire project has been supported by the Serbian Deputy Prime Minister Rasim Ljajić.

Belgrade, June 6th 2019 - The project of digital restoration of Serbia’s movie heritage “Vip Kinoteka” continues with the digital restoration of ten more films that have marked the country’s cinema. The continuation of the successful cooperation between the Yugoslav Film Archive and Vip mobile on such an important cultural project is officially announced on the day when the Yugoslav Film Archive marks its 70th anniversary, and Vip mobile celebrates 12 years of the company’s operations in Serbia.
