2011 CEV Beach Volleyball European Championship – Serbian Masters
As of 2009, the World Volleyball Federation tends to strengthen the continental and regional competitions so that players can gradually get through to the world competitions. Serbia fully supports this action and, within Vip Beach Masters, it organizes tournament under the patronage of Confederation of European Volleyball (CEV) for the third year in a row.
Last two years Serbia had a privilege to host CEV Challenger tournament in Novi Sad, whose participants competed for the rankings at the list of the European Volleyball Confederation (CEV) and the World Volleyball Federation (FIVB), as well as total prize fund in the amount of EUR 12.000 for 24 teams that managed to qualify for the Main Draw.
The Volleyball Federation of Serbia and Vip are especially proud of the fact that Novi Sad will host an attractive European Championship – Masters this year from July 13th to 17th, gathering the best European male beach volleyball teams at the Strand beach, with price fund of as much as EUR 50,000!
The interest for this competition is great and the fact that 70 teams from 28 European countries, including 3 teams from Serbia will participate just underscores it.
