Using your mobile phone abroad

As the number of our roaming partners and available services is increasing all the time, be sure to check the roaming services and roaming tariffs before you travel. In addition, we recommend that you check if there are any roaming promotions or roaming packages available which can bring you significant savings in roaming.

Selecting a network while abroad
When entering another country, your mobile phone will automatically accept the signal and be registered in the roaming partner network.
If automatic registration of your mobile phone fails, you will have to search for the network manually. Your mobile phone display will then show the names of all available networks in the country where you are located. When the network has been selected, all your mobile phone functions will be activated. Vip customers have different services enabled in roaming, depending on the country and roaming partner’s network used. Check which roaming partners are available in the country you are travelling to and which services are enabled in their networks.

For international calls please make sure to use the correct number format (use sign "+"). Then add country code, area or network code and then the number you are calling (i.e. +43 664 1234567).
