Vip offers full range of messaging service like SMS and MMS to its customers.

With SMS (SMS - Short Message Service) you can type a message on the keypad of your phone and send it to another GSM mobile user. The message will appear on display of that phone. Similarly, the messages can be sent to you. Each standard textual message may be up to 160 characters long. In case message contains letters Č,Ć,Ž,Đ,Š, foreign alphabet characters or animations, it will be charged as more than one standard textual message, since it is in line with specifications of GSM standard, that one character is counted as more characters (even up to 70 characters).

SMS is a unique way to keep in contact when you cannot make or receive voice calls, such as situations when you are in a restaurant or a meeting, or when a phone call would be inappropriate. Discreet and confidential, they allow you to contact other GSM users without fear of interrupting them - and without fear of being dragged into a lengthy conversation. Simply key in your message, address it to another GSM user, and send it. It could not be easier.

SMS is available to all Vip customers, but your mobile phone must support the SMS feature. Please read the SMS section in your phone user manual for instruction on writing, sending, receiving and deleting short messages.

All SMS settings are preset on your SIM card – in case you need it, SMSC number is +381 61 0401 for Vip customers.

How many times did you think "If only my friends could see this now!" or how many times did you wish to share a moment with someone special who was not there with you? So far you've had the possibility to either call them on the phone or send SMS messages. But somehow this has not been enough! You also want to share pictures and sounds surrounding you. At this particular point in time. Feeling sad? No, you don’t need to feel sad any more!

This is now also possible with our MMS service. Our MMS service enables you to send and receive messages containing:

• text
• colour photographs
• tones, sounds and melodies
• video clips (from person to person)

Up until now you have been able to send SMS messages that were restricted to text containing up to 160 characters only. Our MMS service enables you to send messages with no text restrictions, and with the additional feature of the combined audio and video clips within one message. All you need to do is take a photo of the desired scene, record the sound and send everything via your MMS mobile phone in just one MMS message (limitation 300 kB per MMS).

The price for sending an MMS is according to the respective price plan, receiving MMS messages is free of charge.

If you are sending one MMS message with an MMS content to several recipients (to the MMS mobile phone display or e-mail address), you will be charged as if you sent the message to each user separately, i.e. the price of one MMS message will be multiplied by the number of recipients.
