Vip offers the following data services to its customers which enable them to:

• Fast access to wap mutimedia services
• Mobile Internet/intranet access
• Possibility to access their e-mail
• Fast mobile data transmission with notebooks or PDAs

Currently, Vip data services are based on the following technologies:

• HSPA+ (Evolved High Speed Packet Access) - an enhancement of the third-generation (3G) mobile networks. Vip mobile is the first and the only operator on the Serbian market that has introduced the HSPA+ technology which enables the data transmission rates up to 42 Mbps for data downloading and 5.7 Mbps for data uploading.
  
  
• EDGE (Enhanced Data rates for Global Evolution) – system for faster data transport through the GSM network. Vip EDGE network supports the data transmission rates up to 296 Kbps when receiving data (i.e. download) and 236 Kbps when sending data (i.e. upload). The EDGE network is available at any location covered by a GSM signal.
  
  
• GPRS (General Packet Radio Service) is an enhancement of the GSM network that enables the data transport and access to Internet at the speed up to 114 Kbps. GPRS network is available at any location covered by a GSM signal.
