Vip is marking growth also during the first half of 2012

In the first six months of 2012 Vip mobile increased its revenues by 15% to EUR 75.5 million as a direct result of customer’s base growth and more usage and traffic. During Q2 revenues amounted to EUR 38.2 million.  By the end of June EBITDA marked 82.8% growth to EUR 21.7 million, and during Q2 it amounted to EUR 11.4 million.

Subscribers’ base grew by 12% to more than 1.6 million customers at the end of June 2012, and market share rose to 16.5%.

"Company’s steady growth is a result of continuous customers’ acquisition, especially in the postpaid business and residential segment. Vip remains the biggest Greenfield investor and has invested since 2007 EUR 715.6 million, including the license fee. Only in the first 6 months we have invested EUR 25.3 million mainly in our network and new shops. Our fastest HSPA+ network technology currently covers 72% of the Serbian population and we have 290 points of sale across Serbia." said Andreas Graf, Director/CFO Vip mobile, announcing that the operator will continue to develop top quality HSPA+ network and create innovative offers for the customers.
